Support

One of the strengths of Colten Care as far as our home managers are concerned, is that we are a solid, family-run stable company who have grown organically rather than through acquisition.

What this means is that with each new care home we build and commission, we aim to improve on what we have done previously and carry these improvements across the entire group.  As such, we are in a constant programme of refurbishment to ensure that all of our homes can meet and exceed the standards that we strive for.

It is for this reason that we have a strong support staff in place to assist our home managers.  As such, our managers can call upon support in any of the following areas at any time:

Human Resources,
Hospitality,
Housekeeping Services,
Activities,
Clinical Development,
Property Services,
IT and Business Development

Placing the emphasis on a team environment at Colten Care has resulted in us being nominated for and winning a number of awards, both at individual home level and as a group.

We are also aware that in order to deliver the standards of care that we aim for, we have to place a strong focus on staff development and training. This has led us to work in partnership with Bournemouth University and Bournemouth and Poole College.
