Colten Care considers itself to be a 'local' company; it has taken a strategic decision to build Homes that can easily be reached by its senior managers. This is one of the features that make Colten Care different in that it can exercise good management control at all times. This ensures that there are common standards throughout the Company and each home is visited on a regular basis by the Directors and the senior management team.
The Company was established by two local businessmen who already had a reputation as builders of quality houses. These families remain the majority shareholders and this family connection ensures the continuity of the business as a local family run firm.
