Deputy / Head of Care - Rodelyn Secong Educated in the Philippines, Rodelyn worked at Singleton Hospital NHS Trust in Swansea, where she completed the Adaptation Course enabling her to practice as a registered nurse in the UK. Rodelyn joined Abbey View in April 2001 as a Day Sister, and since March 2005 she has been Deputy Matron. While working at Abbey View, Rodelyn undertook the Mentorship Preparation Course at Bournemouth University, and is now enrolled on a Palliative Care Course. |

Receptionist - Judy Ward Judy joined Abbey View in May 1999 since which time she has found the work to be interesting particularly her interaction with the residents. She also takes pleasure in helping to support Matron in her administrative responsibilities. She has a number of hobbies including looking after three dogs and Western films. |

Activities Organiser - Joyce Brand Joyce was trained as an Enrolled Nurse in Worcester, Cape Province in South Africa. She worked at Stikland Hospital (Psychiatric Unit) for fifteen years before coming to England. Joyce joined the team at Abbey View in February 2004 as a Senior Health Care Assistant. In September 2005, Joyce took over the post of Activity Organiser. |

Chef - David Duggan David joined the Navy in 1978 as a Junior Chef, where he completed his training. Whilst serving on the HMS Invincible David once cooked for the Queen, Prince Philip and Prince Andrew. After gaining further qualifications, in 1982 David joined the Endurance in Antarctica as Leading Cook. David joined Colten Care in 1996 and was charged with the responsibility for commissioning Abbey View's kitchens. David enjoys providing traditional home cooked food. |
