Matron / Manager - Irene Gray Irene trained as a general nurse in Surrey and later moved to Dorset. She has worked in a number of the Homes since joining Colten Care fourteen years ago, and has been a Matron/Manager for the last eight. During this time Irene has completed various post graduate courses, finally achieving the Registered Managers Award. Irene has a daughter who is undertaking her nurse training and a son who is a professional in musical theatre.

Deputy / Head of Care - Rosemary Kuah Rosemary completed her general nurse and registered mental nurse training in Poole in 1992. Since then she has achieved a BSc in Health Psychology and is currently undertaking a Masters degree in Dementia care. In her spare time Rosemary enjoys movies and reading.
Receptionist - Mandy Spiers
Mandy has worked as receptionist at The Aldbury for three years. A job-share was created for Mandy after giving birth to her daughter a year ago, and this has enabled her to continue supporting Matron with her administrative duties and assisting relatives and visitors with their enquiries.
Activities Organiser - Candy Lewis Candy previously worked in fashion and design, and her creative and artistic flair has been beneficial in producing very interesting and varied activity programmes for the residents at the Aldbury. Candy has worked with Colten Care for three years.
Activities Organiser - Julie Norkett
Julie initially worked as a health care assistant at The Aldbury, and achieved the N.V.Q Level 2 in care. Julie particularly enjoys the social side of caring and became the second Activity Organiser when the post became vacant two years ago.
Chef - Colin Hale Colin attended Garrets Green Catering College Birmingham where he gained his City & Guilds 706/1 and 2. He has worked in some very prestigious Hotels in Birmingham where the highlight of his career to date was part of a team catering for one of Princess Anne's Charity Nights. Colin moved to Bournemouth and joined Colten Care as Chef at Canford Chase in 1997. In 2003, he was responsible for the opening of Colten Care's first EMI kitchen at The Aldbury.
