Matron / Manager - Jackie Roy After training at Guy's Hospital in London and achieving a Sister's post Jackie quickly entered the field that interests her most, which is Care of the Elderly. Following a career break in order to bring up her children, Jackie returned to work in the care home sector working in various care homes. After joining Colten Care as a part time Sister, Jackie was first promoted to Deputy Matron at Avon Reach,then to Matron at Brook View and finally she was invited to commission Amberwood House.

Deputy / Head of Care - Jeanette Hendon Jeanette trained as a first level nurse in Bristol. Since then she has gained varied experience in different roles, one of which was establishing and running a nursery. She worked for Colten Care for twelve years before being appointed Deputy Matron at Amberwood House. Her even temper as well as her ability to get along with staff and residents alike makes her a very successful Deputy Matron.
Receptionist - Sonia Mooney
Before joining Colten Care as Receptionist at Amberwood House, Sonia managed a successful property business in Spain. Sonia's vibrant personality is apparent as soon as you enter the doors at Amberwood House. She is always there with a ready smile and2 helpful manner.
Activity Organiser - Brenda Sharp Since moving to Bournemouth, Brenda started working on the home from hospital scheme as well as working in various care homes. She was appointed Activity Organiser at Avon Cliff and subsequently moved to Amberwood House to welcome the first resident.
Chef - Gary Parson In 1979 Gary joined The Army School of Catering in Aldershot to gain his Catering Certifications. He is well travelled, serving in Germany, Belize, Kenya, Mexico, Guatemala and Saudi Arabia. He was of Head Chef for the Lady's Officers Mess Aldershot and as part of a team has cooked for the Queen on two separate occasions. Gary joined Colten Care in 1997 and has commissioned five of Colten Care's additional Homes. Gary is at present Head Chef at Amberwood House.
