Matron / Manager - Lucy Bradley
Lucy BradleyTrained locally at Bournemouth University Institute of Health and Community Studies, and at Dorchester County Hospital, she started her career working in the hospital on the Emergency Medical Unit, and then joined the elderly care team on Barnes Ward. She joined Colten Care at Castle View in March 2004 as Deputy Matron, and was appointed Matron in June 2005. Born in Salisbury, Lucy moved to Dorset whilst still at school and has been local to the Dorchester ever since. Lucy has a White West Highland terrier who enjoys long walks in the surrounding countryside.

Sarah Harper

Deputy / Head of Care - Sarah Harper
Sarah moved to Dorchester in 1981 and continued her education at the local school before starting her training with The Dorset School of Nursing in 1988. She has worked in the nursing home environment since qualifying in 1991. Sarah has been at Castle View since it opened, initially as a Night Sister before moving to day duty. Sara was promoted to Deputy Matron in 2005.

Shelley Branch

Receptionist - Shelley Branch
Shelley joined Castle View in June 2004 as our receptionist, having previously worked in a doctor's surgery in Weymouth. She is a registered First Aider. Before moving into hospitality, Shelley studied interior design at Weymouth College and has a keen eye for detail, as well as being very organised. She has lived, studied and worked in Weymouth and Dorchester all her life.

Eileen Whitcher

Activity Organiser - Eileen Whitcher
Eileen has been working for Colten Care for six years, and prior to this post was a carer at Avon Cliff. She loves her job and really enjoys keeping the residents happy and busy. She enjoys travelling and the residents are always keen to know where Eileen is going next, having already been to Sri Lanka, The Maldives and Kenya. Eileen ran the Race For Life at Sherborne Castle this year sponsored by residents to a total of £150, donated to Cancer Care.

Philip Mowlam

Chef - Philip Mowlam
Philip served his apprenticeship in the Army and gained his professional qualifications at Aldershot Catering College. His Army experience allowed him to travel to many countries including The Falkland Islands, where he was awarded the British Empire Medal. He was awarded a Silver Medal at Hotel Olympia for his Buffet Presentations. Philip has worked in various catering establishments. In May 2006, Philip joined Colten Care at Castle View.
