Home Manager - Jacqueline Reddell Jacqueline trained as a Nurse at St Luke’s Hospital and the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. She qualified as a nurse in 1976, and nursed in British Military Hospitals abroad. Jacqueline started working in the field of elderly care in 1989 and joined Colten Care in 2000. Promoted to Matron in 2003, Jacqueline has undertaken and passed the Foundation Degree in Care Home Management.

Head of Care - Daniela Buzatu
Daniela Buzatu is an experienced registered nurse, with an NVQ level 4 . Daniela began her nursing career in Romania, she has been working in the care of the elderly since 2004. She has a keen interest in teaching and is a qualified “Train The Trainer”. She has a special interest in care with older people. Daniela joined Woodpeckers in July 2010.
Activity Organiser - Shirley Smith Shirley joined Woodpeckers in 2005. She trained in Scotland as a Teacher, but on returning to the profession after a decade abroad, she quickly realised that the profession was no longer her vocation. Shirley carried out voluntary work for a local Care Group, mainly driving older people to doctor and hospital appointments before taking up the full time post of Activity Organiser at Woodpeckers.
Chef - Mike Hammond Mike has been in catering for 40 years having trained as a chef in the 4 star hotels “The Prince of Wales in Stockport”, Lancashire; Mike has been with Colten care for 3 years. He has city & guilds qualifications in catering and advanced confectionery.
Chef - Reg McCulloch
Reg began his catering career at Southampton where he gained the 147/151 & 152 chef qualifications. He continued his training at the Royal Bath Hotel in Bournemouth and the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. Reg moved back to the south of England and was employed in a variety of top class hotels and restaurants; he was promoted to Chef Manager of a busy 3 Star hotel. Reg joined Colten Care in 2007 as a Chef at Woodpeckers and says he really enjoys the home-cooking and chatting to the residents.
