Braemar Lodge offers 55 beautifully appointed bedrooms, featuring flat screen Televisions with freeview, all bedrooms have en-suite facilities. The moment visitors step into the reception area an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness is evident. A few steps from reception is the well appointed dining room and both ground and garden floors have a large lounges with comfortable armchairs and sofas. The garden lounge has access to the well stocked garden where a relaxing walk can be enjoyed. On the first floor there is small quiet lounge, an activity room and a leisure room with computers and exercise area.

beautiful home in the city of Salisbury. We are conveniently situated

Matron / Manager - Alison Bremner
Alison and her Australian husband have been married for 25 years and
have a teenage son and daughter. She is an experienced Registered Nurse
with a real passion for holistic care. Alison spent her early years
working abroad in a varied professional capacity including dementia
care. Alison has spent the pas 11 years at a care home in Wiltshire
achieving her NVQ 4 in management in March 2006. She joined Colten Care
in December 2008.

Deputy/Head of Care - Jackie Cash
Jackie is an experienced registered nurse who trained and spent 15 years
in the RAF. Since 1993 she has worked in elderly care both in the NHS
and private sector. Jackie has gained a diploma in Health & Social
Care and she is also a NVQ assessor. Jackie was born in Salisbury and
lives in Durrington with her husband and two children.

Receptionist – Christine Broadley
Christine joined at the opening of Braemar Lodge; she was previously
working in a doctor’s surgery. Christine lives locally with her husband;
her two children have now grown up and have flown the coop so to speak.
Her interests are needlework and music.

Activity Organiser – Vanessa McKenzie

Activity Organiser – Martin Cannings
Martin is a very creative Organiser, he and the residents particularly
enjoy art and craft sessions. Martin is fascinated and loves spending
time hearing about the residents past life history. He was born in
Salisbury, during his spare time he enjoys cooking and spending time
with his nephews and nieces.

Chef - Frankie Collingwood
Frankie Collingwood has over 21 years experience. Her career changed slightly when she moved into a military kitchen where she furthered her culinary skills catering for military dinner evenings and mess balls. Whilst in this position Frankie competed in a variety of competitions at various levels being awarded many degrees of success.
She had become an experienced and accomplished chef by this time and in May 2008 she joined Colten Care at their Braemar Lodge Home in Salisbury.
