Court Lodge Residents enjoy delightful delectables!

Residents at Court Lodge nursing home in Lymington had a delightfully delectable month. They have been involved in a range of food themed activities for the “Food glorious Food challenge!” an initiative by NAPA (National association for providers of activities for older people) to encourage care homes to turn mealtimes which sometimes can be a plain or boring affair into a wonderful exciting activity.
One evening the dining room of Court Lodge was turned into a cruise ship and they went on a journey culinary discovery sampling food from all over the world.
The staff dressed up as sailors and captains and donned hats and costumes from those countries. They also grew their own vegetables, went on picnics, indulged in some baking, had tea parties and much more!
