We have twenty five tastefully furnished bedrooms, some with en-suite facilities, spacious assisted bathrooms and open and airy garden lounge where many of our varied activities take place.

Home Manager - Chris Dimmick
Chris has worked for Colten Care for sixteen years and has been Manager at Monmouth House since 1995. She has undertaken various training courses since joining the company and holds the Registered Managers Award. Chris is married with two children, a daughter who is a student nurse and a son who is a local chef. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog and running the local Beaver Scouts.

Deputy Manager - Jackie Urquhart
Jackie has worked at Monmouth house since 1988. In 1993 she became
Deputy Manager and has achieved the NVQ Assessor and the Registered
Managers Award. She is married with three sons and her hobbies include
walking her dogs and reading.

Activity Organiser - Lynda Leen
Lynda was the first ever appointed Activity Organiser. She was awarded
“The Lymington Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Award” in 2001. Lynda is very
involved in the local community, running the Sunday school and junior
church at Woodside. In her free time she enjoys riding her pony in the
New Forest.

Chef - Mark Sloper
Whilst still at School Mark worked at Limpets Seafood Restaurant in
Lymington and later attended Brockenhurst College from 1998 to 1999
where he gained NVQ Level 1 & 2. After qualifying as a Chef, Mark
went to work at Carey’s Manor as a Relief Chef. He later went on to
work at the ‘Old House at Home’ Seafood Restaurant as Head Chef then
returned to Lymington to work at Egan’s Restaurant. He joined the team
at Colten Care in 2005.

Chef - Paul Sharpe
Paul gained his City and Guilds Catering qualifications 706/1 & 2 with credit, at Highbury College between 1974 - 77, and a college dipolma to Proffessional Catering Grade 1. This lead him to nine years of his career catering in the Dorset Police Force as unit Manager; he was then promoted in the last three years of the contract to Group Manager overseeing 11 staff in 4 units. He joined Colten Care in May 2006.
