Individualised Care
Each resident has differing needs, some more complex than others. Therefore, we invite all potential residents to participate in a pre-admission assessment. It may be that your diagnosis e.g. Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons’ Disease or Huntington’s Disease, requires more specialist care, which can be delivered in a professional way in most of our homes. The assessment enables us to confirm whether your needs can be met in the home of your choice.
Palliative Care
Most of our homes also provide Palliative care and work closely with local hospices and other organisations to ensure residents and their families receive maximum support.
Dementia Care
The Aldbury is an award winning purpose designed home for ladies and gentlemen with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia related conditions. The Home consists of four units, each of which have been designed and furnished to create a safe and stimulating environment for our residents. The Aldbury has an extensive range of features and technologies which enable residents to maintain as much independence as their illness will permit. The Home also provides additional staff both for caring and social activities and all staff participate in a dementia care training programme.
