Individualised Care
Each resident has differing needs, some more complex than others. Therefore, we invite all potential residents to participate in a pre-admission assessment. It may be that your diagnosis, e.g. Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease or Huntington's Disease, requires more specialist care, which can be delivered in a professional way in most of our homes. The assessment enables us to confirm whether your needs can be met in the home of your choice.
Palliative Care
Most of our homes also provide Palliative care and work closely with local hospices and other organisations to ensure residents and their families receive maximum support.

Dementia Care
The Aldbury is an award-winning, purpose-designed home for ladies and gentlemen with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related conditions.
Both The Aldbury and our new Fernhill care home consist of four house groups, each of which have been designed to be dementia-friendly, aiding with orientation and promoting a sense of wellbeing through use of different colours and lighting, signage, memory boxes and pictures to enable greater independence for our residents as their illness will permit.
Each home also provides additional staff both for caring and social activities and all staff participate in a dementia care training programme.
