St Catherines View

Welcome to our home, a haven where family life continues; purpose-designed and built to offer the very best environment for those living with dementia. We'd like you to meet our carefully selected and well-trained staff, see our superb facilities, and experience the open, warm and relaxed atmosphere of a place that's home from home for our residents and their visitors. Because, together we can care for your loved one.

In September 2013 we produced a short film about Colten Care's approach to Dementia Care, including experiences kindly shared by relatives. We hope this might help you to understand how our staff and home facilities might be of help to you and your loved ones. To view the 7 minute film click here.

Our Garden

We pride ourselves on our beautiful and stimulating gardens. We recognise that many of our residents had such gardens themselves, and that gardening may have been a special pastime for them. We like to think that we can offer residents the opportunity to continue that pastime in whatever way they feel appropriate.

Colten Champions

Every year, we celebrate the hard work and dedication of the team members across the Colten group who consistently deliver above and beyond expectations. Colleagues, residents, and their relatives can all put forward their nominations, before the finalists are invited to a glittering gala ceremony at Bournemouth's Highcliff Marriott Hotel, hosted by none other than TV's Dr Hilary Jones.

Caring Without Plastic

Colten Care has become the first major provider in the UK's private care home sector to begin a group-wide reduction of single-use plastic. This is a significant move given the care sector's traditionally high use of plastic in clinical services, person-centred care and infection control.
