Barbara and Grace’s First Meeting

During the last 18 months, resident Barbara has been writing to A-Level student Grace as part of our Letters of Friendship project. 

This project was initiated between Companion Kim and Community Outreach Manager Amanda at Sherborne Girls School during COVID to bring communication between residents and the community during a tough time. 

Grace told Amanda she would love to finally meet Barbara after writing regularly. So, we set up a meeting. 

Both Barbara and Grace were so excited to meet for the first time! On chatting, they discovered even more things they had in common with one another. The got on so well together and arranged a future meeting and cream tea at Abbey View!
