Bramble’s Latest Visit

Bramble’s weekly visit is the highlight for many Abbey View residents. 

Bramble – a working Cocker Spaniel, and owner, Karen, from the charity Canine Concern have been faithfully coming to Abbey View every Monday since February. 

It’s an incredible privilege to see residents faces light up as Bramble struts into the room. Resident Pamela could not contain her excitement this morning! Wendy loved having a cuddle and giving Bramble a treat. Meanwhile, Peter and Frances waited in anticipation in our Café for Bramble’s arrival. 

Bramble is amazingly intuitive and instinctively knows which residents she can be more playful with and who will enjoy lap cuddles, and those she needs to wait for to come to her. Such an intelligent canine beauty!
