Burn’s Night At Abbey View

Burns Night was an enormous success at Abbey View this week.

The dining room was decorated with tartan and Scottish flags, while traditional Scottish music played in the background.

Companion Sara made Rob Roy whiskey cocktails that everyone enjoyed, and Chef Sarah provided a delicious Scottish meal with haggis, neeps, and tatties being the star of the show.

Residents joined in by reading the Selkirk grace and the Address to the haggis, and Janet entertained us by reading Rabbie Burns’s classic poem ‘A Red, Red Rose.’

It was such a lovely evening.
