Fulfilling Barbara’s Wish

Resident Barbara expressed her wish to revisit the church she attended for 30 years. 

The church was in her old hometown of Wincanton. Our Clinical Lead, Becco Joff-Thomas, and his twin daughters accompanied us, and sang along to Barbara’s favourite musicals on the minibus trip there. 

We received a very warm welcome at the church. Barbara really enjoyed the service and even met up with a dear old friend! Afterwards, we proceeded to McDonalds as a little surprise, which Barbara and Ron absolutely loved. Barbara couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the day!
