Green Fingers

New resident Norman expressed his wish to do some “pottering” in the garden and help to plant flowers.

He spent many years outdoors and particularly loved his garden. With the perfect sunshine, today was the perfect day for it! With the help of our lovely Gardener Joan, who arranged with our Care Team to bring Norman out to the garden at 11am, Norman set about planting colourful geraniums.

Just as he finished planting, his wife Valerie arrived, delighted to see him out in the garden doing what he loves. The finished baskets look stunning in a popular area of our Abbey View garden. It was heartwarming to see Norman’s face light up at his completed handiwork!
