Margaret’s spontaneous wish granted

Margaret was brought by our super carers to the ground floor lounge to listen to her favourite music.

She mentioned that she would really love a doughnut and to see a dog today! We were just about to go off to the local bakery and fulfil the doughnut wish, when Margaret’s lovely daughter and son-in-law arrived to visit. Her son-in-law immediately arranged to go out and purchase doughnuts and  we then remembered that one of our residents was enjoying a visit from his wife and special Dachshund “Felix”. Felix was abducted for a few minutes so that we could complete Margaret’s double wish! The delight was all evident all over her face, sometimes simple wishes mean the most!
