Shoebox Appeal

It’s that time of year again when residents, relatives and staff of Abbey View get together to collect items for the Rotary Shoe Boxes. 

These boxes, filled with treats and essentials for children in Eastern Europe, bring great joy on the run up to Christmas. Janet, Jane and Edna really enjoyed filling the boxes and deciding which items were most suitable for which age group.  They were thrilled to think of the happiness that could be brought by the simple items donated by us.
