St George’s Day Breakfast

 “Is that sword real?” asked Alex smiling

Breakfast at Abbey View took on a St George’s Day theme, with Robin from the kitchen greeting residents in tabard and helmet, sword in hand. There were a few amused questions about whether it was real, met with smiles all round.

Manny prepared a full English, while a light-hearted moment saw Paul briefly presented with an uncooked egg before his proper plate arrived. Between cups of tea and conversation, a few facts about St George were shared.

Sheila paused for a photograph beside a dragon prop, with “St George” close by, as the morning settled into an easy rhythm of food, laughter, and good company.
