Tea in the community

On Saturday, we were invited to an afternoon tea at a local care home to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

The afternoon was filled with Pimms and socialising, with residents thoroughly enjoying a short outing with Nick, our minibus driver, who played fun, upbeat music to and from the venue. Our Home Manager, Elena Barna, enjoyed a front seat view on the bus. After a lovely afternoon, residents merrily boarded the bus, having enjoyed a Pimms or two, to return home.

Resident Barbara Cobbett said, “I really enjoyed my afternoon on the bus and spending time with fellow residents socialising.” A lovely afternoon was had by all!
