A Morning of Games and Exercise

Residents at Abbotts Barton were joined by Rise for a lively morning exercise class, with an assortment of balls ready for a series of friendly games.

After a gentle warm-up, the group moved on to French boules, ten pin bowling and bocce, the Italian bowling game. Each activity brought its own moments of concentration and good-natured competition, with residents cheering one another on as the games progressed.

Bocce proved particularly popular. Juliette, attending her first Rise class, quickly found her form and was named Star of the Match after becoming the first player to send the ball into the net.
