A Spring Showcase

The Colten Care produce show is an annual competition that brings together our homes to celebrate the changing seasons, the bountiful produce from our gardens, and the joy it brings us throughout the year.

This spring, our task was to create something that would commemorate the Coronation of King Charles. After considering various ideas, our residents decided to craft a beautiful mosaic that could be proudly displayed on a garden wall, to be admired by all for years to come.

We made a trip to Wellington Grange, our sister home in Chichester, where we joined residents from two our other sister homes, St Catherine’s View and Braemar Lodge, to view the entries from our respective homes. It was a delightful occasion, filled with camaraderie and creativity.

We enjoyed a lovely outdoor lunch accompanied by refreshing Pimm’s, and the warm weather made it a perfect summer day for socialising and connecting with one another.
