Afternoon at the Garden Society Café

Residents from Abbotts Barton enjoyed a relaxed afternoon outing to the Garden Society Café in Eastleigh, a spot they like to return to for its welcoming atmosphere.

Barry and Alan treated themselves to gin and tonics alongside sweet cakes and waffles, while Elcia and Marjorie enjoyed coffee, tea, and a rich chocolate cake.

The visit offered plenty of time for conversation and laughter, as residents caught up and savoured the change of scenery. With such a varied menu, there was talk of returning for lunch on another visit. Barry summed it up nicely: “I love coming here. What’s better than a trip out, and a change of scenery shared with friends over a gin and tonic (or two!).”
