Alan’s 80th Birthday

Alan celebrated his 80th birthday surrounded by friends and family on a sunny afternoon at Abbotts Barton. With the warm weather drawing everyone outdoors, the celebrations took place in the garden, where Alan spent the afternoon enjoying a beer in the sunshine and chatting with visitors as they arrived.

He was presented with a card and gift from everyone at the home, followed by the arrival of a particularly large birthday cake. Seeing it placed in front of him, Alan laughed and said, “Wow! You better get me a spoon!” The afternoon carried on with cake being shared around the tables and plenty of conversation in the garden.
