Art Club

This afternoon Ruth and Anne joined Companion Theo in the lounge to experiment with oil pastels, which none of us had tried before!

It was good fun learning how to use them, and we ended up with such a variety of pieces. Ruth drew a beautiful rendition of the orchid on the windowsill, and Anne portrayed a tasty ice cream cone – very needed in this weather!

While we drew, we chatted about art and Ruth revealed a passion for life drawing, while Anne shared that she dabbles in portraiture.
