Baking Club

In Baking Club today, we rolled our sleeves up and got busy making some flapjacks.

Jean and Marion (pictured) stirred in the ingredients and we filled a nice deep baking tray with the gooey mixture.

It was popped in the oven and we all waited in anticipation. Whilst we waited, we had a good old chat about the things we liked to bake for our families. Jean told us she used to make flapjacks for her boys and she’s glad they’ve turned out to be good cooks too!

Once the flapjacks had cooled, they were cut up and shared out. A little crunchier than planned, but delicious all the same!
