Beside the seaside!

There is nothing like being beside the seaside to lift the spirits.

Despite the cold damp weather, our residents enjoyed a trip to Mudeford Quay. We had a walk along the quayside and sat watching the waves as we munched on our picnic lunch. Auriol remembered bringing her children to Mudeford in the summer. Her son would catch crabs while her daughter danced around in the sand. Josie was keen to see where the lifeboat was launched from. Joyce had visited Mudeford as a child and had stayed in a bungalow near the beach. To complete our trip down memory lane we found the road and bungalow where Joyce had stayed. We stopped on the bus outside so that she could see how it had changed over the years.
