Charlie the Donkey

Abbotts Barton welcomed Charlie the Donkey through its doors to meet our residents. 

Charlie is a therapy donkey and with a little encouragement (donkey treats) he entered the lift and visited residents in the lounge or their rooms.  

Resident Daphne was amazed. She said: “When I heard a donkey was visiting, I didn’t dream he would be coming inside, let alone into my bedroom. He really was lovely. I was particularly impressed with his Christmas hat and blanket.”
