D-day Museum

6 January 2024

A couple of our residents joined us on the minibus for a trip to the D-Day museum in Southsea.

After picking up our tickets, Barry Baker and David Jordan (pictured) explored the displays and examined the artifacts.

The museum had interactive areas and films that provided a detailed and moving experience.

After our wander, we stopped in the café for refreshments before heading home.

Martin, the driver, ensured the fun continued by taking the scenic route back via Portsdown Hill. Barry expressed that it had been “a delightful trip.”
