Enjoying the Summer Sunshine

The sun was shining today, so we decided to make the most of the summer weather and took a scenic drive through the pretty villages of Stockbridge and Houghton.

We stopped off at Kimbridge Barn near Romsey and enjoyed a cup of tea in the lovely café. We looked out at the gardens, which were very scenic and inviting, and felt the sunshine through the windows. There were so many beautiful flowers and colours to admire, which made us all smile. We enjoyed the drive back as we passed through many charming villages.

John thoroughly enjoyed the day and said, “This is such a lovely spot; I didn’t know it existed! The menu looks lovely too, so maybe this is somewhere we should visit for lunch one day.”
