Gin and Tonic by the River

This morning we went to the Mayfly pub, which is set by the river Test.

We sat in the garden enjoying the sunshine and the sound of the river flowing over the weirs. The river Test is famous for its trout and as we dropped in bits of fish food (supplied by the pub) we could see huge brown trout coming up to the surface.

Sipping his gin & tonic, Barry said: “I could sit here all day. Its idyllic.”
