Knit One, Purl One, and Plenty of Chat!

Our weekly Knit and Natter group continues to be a popular fixture at Abbotts Barton, though for some, it’s definitely more about the nattering than the knitting!

This morning, Margaret decided to pick up her needles. A former cross-stitch and sewing enthusiast, she was happy to give knitting a go. It didn’t take long before muscle memory kicked in, and soon Margaret was confidently working her way through rows of knit one, purl one.

“I’ve surprised myself this morning,” she said. “I didn’t think I would have the dexterity to knit anymore, but this little square proves otherwise!”
