Matrimonial Drama

This week at Abbotts Barton, the residents had a brilliant time play-reading ‘When We Were Married’ by J.B. Priestley.

Set in the 1930s, Mr. and Mrs. Helliwell (played by residents John Arber and Doris Short) discover, on their silver wedding anniversary, that they are not actually married!

It was an absolutely enjoyable and fun experience for everyone involved.
