Pub Lunch

While the temperatures have really plummeted this week, our more adventurous residents wanted to take a drive out to the pub for lunch. 

We took a scenic drive through the Hampshire countryside, taking in some beautiful icy scenery including a frozen village pond and eventually arrived at the Bear & Ragged Staff pub for lunch. 

We were welcomed with a warm snug room and open fires. We had a delicious lunch, a few drinks, and some great conversation. 

We then took the long way home through the lanes. Barry remarked: “It’s amazing how much you can see now the leaves have gone. There is some really stunning scenery.”
