Re-Inventing the Classics

On Saturday we gathered in the lounge to take some classic works of art, and make them our own.
With paint, pens, and pencils in hand, Marion took on Kandinsky, Ruth redesigned the Girl with the Pearl Earring, and Anne put her own spin on the Mona Lisa.
Unconcerned about traditional artistic ability we threw ourselves into the art of the abstract, and got a little silly with it. “As long as we’re having fun, I don’t mind if it’s good!” was a heart-warming quote from Ruth, reminding us to let loose and enjoy.
