‘Rise’ and Shine

Everyone was keen to get active and enjoy this glorious sunny morning.  

So, we all gathered in the main lounge for a game of rugby, yes, RUGBY! 

Sam from Rise joined us, armed with an excellent soundtrack and a number of rugby balls and cones. 

After a gentle warm up of our legs and shoulders, we split into two teams and practised passing the ball and knocking over the cones. Once we had all honed our impressive skills, we had a match! We passed the ball down through our teams as fast as we could and threw it into the goal… it was pretty close, but the Red Team took the trophy in the end.  

Anne said: “I didn’t think I’d be able to play rugby, but that was really fun.”
