Rock Choir Visit

Residents at Abbotts Barton enjoyed a visit from a 24-strong Rock Choir, that included Companion Wendy and Receptionist Lynne, who are both part of a local group based in Andover.

The choir travelled from Andover and Salisbury to perform a varied programme of well-known songs.

The set moved across genres, with pieces by Lewis Capaldi, Roy Orbison, Lady Gaga and Guns N’ Roses, bringing familiar rhythms and plenty of foot tapping throughout the room.

Residents listened closely, with several commenting on the challenge of remembering all the words. The choir explained the support of their leader, Rachel, who provides clear prompts during rehearsals.
