Still Life Drawing

Friday afternoon was a little grey and a little drizzly, so we decided to cheer ourselves up by grabbing some beautiful brightly coloured flowers and attempting to sketch them.

As always, it was so interesting to see how different the end results were, even though we were drawing the same things.

It was a lovely peaceful hour, and Julia (pictured) fondly reminisced about her years at a Newbury boarding school and previous art projects, which was very interesting to hear.
