Tea In The Rain

We had just sat ourselves down outside the the John Lewis garden centre at Longstock when the we experienced a sudden cloud burst.

We rushed for cover hoping it would be a quick shower. However, the rain showed no signs of stopping so we found a table inside.

We sat and enjoyed the delights of Victoria sandwich and lemon drizzle cake, washed down with a cup of tea.

We enjoyed having a wander around the shop: Elcia purchased some fresh fruit as the peaches looked so delicious. Meanwhile, Sheila was more concerned that her slice of cake wasn’t as enormous as the last time we visited!
