Visit from Nelly

On a rather grey afternoon, residents were delighted by a visit from friendly pup, Nelly.

Nelly moved calmly through the rooms, receiving plenty of fuss and affection from both residents and staff. Sue, her owner, ensures every resident is included, visiting not only the communal areas but also those who are less able to get about, and Nelly never fails to bring a smile to everyone she meets.

While the home welcomes a variety of animals, Nelly is a particular favourite, and residents often ask when she will return. Mary enjoyed a cuddle and remarked, “She’s just so sweet, and such a good girl too. There’s something so wonderful about spending time with animals.”
