Yew Tree Garden Centre Visit

Residents enjoyed a trip to Yew Tree Garden Centre, a new venue for the group and one that proved popular on arrival. The garden centre offered a spacious layout, allowing time to browse the giftware section before moving on to the displays of plants, flowers and trees.

As they walked through the centre, residents shared memories of gardening at home, talking about favourite plants and time spent tending their own gardens. Joyce Birchmore paused to take in the scent of the flowers, reflecting on her past rose gardens and time spent pottering outdoors.

The visit ended in the café, where residents enjoyed refreshments and a relaxed moment to look back on the afternoon before heading home.
