International Bread Week at Amberwood House

This week at Amberwood House, residents and staff celebrated International Bread Week with a hands-on baking experience led by our talented chef, Bart.
Residents Margaret and Marj eagerly joined in, helping to mix, knead, and bake a variety of delicious breads.
The kitchen was filled with laughter, conversation, and the comforting aroma of freshly baked bread. The activity encouraged teamwork, engagement, and a sense of accomplishment for all involved.
To share the joy further, some of the freshly baked bread, along with additional loaves kindly purchased from a local supermarket, was delivered to Ferndown Community Support.

Resident Shirley said it was “wonderful to be in a position to give back and share the fruits of our efforts with the wider community.”
The week was a delightful celebration of skill, collaboration, and generosity, bringing residents together while supporting a valued local charity.
