A Visit from Pony ‘n’ Paws

We were delighted to welcome Pony ‘n’ Paws to Amberwood this morning for a very special visit.

Our residents had the pleasure of meeting Sammy, a miniature Shetland pony. Anything under 34 inches is classed as a miniature and Sammy stands at just 31 inches tall!

We were also joined by Scamp the friendly cockapoo, who quickly became a firm favourite.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed spending time petting both Sammy and Scamp. They visited not only the lounge but also went around to bedrooms, ensuring that even those unable to join us in the lounge could share in this lovely experience.
