Amberwood House Sets Sail Around Poole Harbour

Residents at Amberwood House enjoyed a wonderful two-hour cruise around Poole Harbour aboard the Friends of the Dolphin boat, taking in the stunning coastal scenery and fresh sea air.

As the boat made its way around the harbour, residents admired the beautiful surroundings and shared their thoughts on the spectacular views. Joan commented that she couldn’t believe somewhere so beautiful was right on her doorstep.

Although Joan was a little apprehensive about being out on the water and held Companion Maddee’s hand throughout the trip, she said she was pleased she had taken part once she was safely back on dry land. Shirley particularly enjoyed feeling the wind in her hair as the boat cruised through the harbour.

It was a memorable outing filled with friendship, laughter and the simple pleasure of spending time together by the water.
