Birthday Celebrations

It has been a busy day at Amberwood House with two special birthdays and the celebration of carers week.

The day began with a fun activity where everyone wore their PJs to work to kick off carers week. The birthday celebrations started with a delicious birthday cake and a heartfelt rendition of the birthday song by both the staff and residents.

To add to the festivities, Nicky treated everyone to a sing-along. It was a delightful experience as we sang along, tapping our feet to the rhythm. The sing-along quickly transformed into a lively karaoke session with Molly singing Whitney Houston, Norrie belting out songs from Grease, and a surprise performance from our home manager, Diane, who shared her childhood favourite, Angelo. Laughter and smiles filled the home as more residents and staff joined in the fun.

We extend our gratitude to Nicky for providing us with such a wonderful afternoon. To Pat and Valerie, the birthday celebrants, we hope you enjoyed the festivities as much as we did. Happy Birthday!
