Cooks Club Adventures: A Sweet Success

It was time for another Cooks Club session, and Ann Marie had a delightful chocolate recipe lined up for everyone to try.

With the ingredients laid out and aprons on, the group gathered around the table, ready to get baking. Laughter and conversation filled the room as mixing began.

As arms began to tire from stirring, the bowl made its way around the table, each person taking a turn to make sure the batter was just right. Once it reached peak chocolatey goodness, the mixture was spooned into muffin cases with care and placed onto the tray, ready for the oven.

That’s when John spotted the real treat: the bowl, still lined with rich chocolate batter. With a sparkle in his eye, he wasted no time in claiming the baker’s unspoken reward, and no one disagreed!

At 3 p.m. sharp, the timer dinged. Out came warm, soft muffins packed with chocolate chips. One bite turned into two, and soon the room was filled with chocolatey smiles and happy hearts.
