Christmas day may be over,
but after a discussion with the residents about their favourite food they liked to make and eat warm, they decided on sausages rolls. All the ladies helped to roll out the pastry and then with their hands they softened the sausage meat. They all chose what size sausage rolls they wanted to make. It was fascinating to watch and see how naturally they rolled and then scored the pastry, before glazing it with the beaten egg ready for cooking.
