Easter Wreath

Continuing our 2025 tradition, we have been busy creating a beautiful living Easter wreath. 

Shirley, Margaret, Marion, and Mary used birch branches, carefully bending them into shape while Companion Kirsty secured them in place with wire.  

Next, we created a basket at the base to hold moss and violas. Twisting and weaving ivy around the frame was a team effort but has given the wreath a lush, organic feel. To complete the look, we delicately nestled tiny eggs into the nooks. We are absolutely delighted with how it is coming together! 

Tomorrow, we will add the final floral touches before Kirsty and Lyn take on the task of hanging it at the entrance — welcoming everyone to enjoy Easter treats in the weeks ahead.
