Eyes Down at Amberwood

Friday afternoons at Amberwood are never dull — especially when bingo is on the cards.

With Anne-Marie calling the numbers, the lounge quickly filled up.

Residents Shirley, Peter, Dot, and Irene took their places, dabbers in hand and tea close by — though perhaps a little too close given the excitement!

Anne-Marie steered the session with charm and good humour, even if some of the classic calls have been retired in favour of more modern sensibilities. No matter — the joy, nostalgia, and camaraderie were very much alive.

A cheerful end to the week, and a lovely reminder that some traditions never lose their sparkle.
